Refund Policy

1. General Provisions
This Refund Policy (hereinafter — "Policy") defines the terms for refunds of payments for services purchased through the JourneyBay mobile application and website. This Policy forms an integral part of the Terms of Service.
Please read this Policy carefully before making a purchase.
2. Nature of Services
JourneyBay provides digital services: access to AI features, itinerary generation, personalized recommendations, and other AI-generated content.
- Digital services begin immediately upon payment
- By making a purchase, you provide your express consent to the immediate provision of digital content
- You acknowledge that once digital content provision has begun, the right of withdrawal is lost
3. All Sales Are Final
All purchases made through JourneyBay are final and non-refundable.
This applies to:
- TripPass PRO subscription — monthly, two-month (Trip Pass), and annual
- AI tokens — included in subscriptions and purchased separately
- Any other paid services provided through the Service
Pro-rata refunds for unused subscription periods are not provided. Unused tokens cannot be exchanged for money.
4. Subscription Cancellation
- You may cancel auto-renewing subscriptions at any time through the app settings
- Upon cancellation, PRO feature access is retained until the end of the paid period
- No refund is issued for the current paid period
- No further charges will occur after cancellation
5. Free Trial
- A 7-day free trial is offered once per user
- Cancellation during the trial is free, with no charges
- If the subscription is not cancelled before the trial ends, the paid period begins and payment is charged automatically
- We recommend using the trial period to evaluate the Service before purchasing
6. Exceptions: Billing Error Corrections
Refunds are provided exclusively in the following cases, which constitute billing error corrections, not refunds for services:

To file a claim, email [email protected] with your account email, transaction date and amount, and a description of the issue.
7. Processing Procedure
- Claim review: up to 10 business days
- Refund (if billing error is confirmed): up to 10 business days after confirmation, to the card used for the original payment
- Actual posting times depend on the card-issuing bank
- Refunds are processed through T-Bank (Tinkoff Acquiring)
- Refunds to a different card, by cash, or by any other method are not available
8. Legal Basis
8.1. Russian Law
Under Russian consumer protection law and Article 32 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation, consumers have the right to cancel a service agreement subject to reimbursing the provider's actually incurred expenses. Since digital services are provided immediately in full, the actually incurred expenses equal the full cost of the service.
8.2. EU Law
Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU, the right of withdrawal (14-day "cooling-off period") does not apply to digital content supplied on a non-tangible medium if performance has begun with the consumer's express prior consent and acknowledgement of loss of the right of withdrawal. By making a purchase, you provide such consent.
9. Disputes
If you disagree with a decision regarding your claim:
- Submit a follow-up request with additional justification to [email protected]
- Seek resolution through the courts as specified in section 14 of the Terms of Service
10. Changes
We may update this Policy. Changes do not affect transactions made before the changes take effect. The current version is always available on this page.
